LIMITED SUPPLY: 12 bags

I’m reaching out to ask for your support: I’m offering $5 grab bags to raise funds for my husband’s best friend, Dave, with all proceeds going to help him during this difficult time.

Dave is a dedicated single father of two, ages 22 and 19. His life took a turn when he was diagnosed with lung cancer in early 2024. After undergoing surgery to remove one lung, we hoped for the best, but the cancer returned, spreading to his stomach and his blood.

Currently unable to work and having exhausted his unemployment benefits, Dave needs our help.

He is currently in the hospital suffering from radiation burns, which are very painful.

By purchasing a $5 grab bag, you’ll receive a collection of wonderful handmade Family Christmas items—Santa Snack Tray, Santa Cam, Reindeer Food, Reindeer Food Ornament, Santa Tracker Ornament, Christmas Game (one of three), and a Coin Drop game - each valued over $20.

I do not normally post on the weekends but this is important. I still have some of the Goodie Bags for Cancer fundraiser bags (for my husbands best friend, Dave) left if anyone one would like to pick one up. I have been hearing that people are buying these bags and using the contents for gifts, I never even thought of that :) $5 per bag!

Update on Dave and his Cancer. The cancer had grown so much that it was pushing on the muscles in his back and causing him severe pain. He was on Chemo and Radiation and nothing seemed to be stopping it from growing. They stopped chemo and radiation for a while and then just did radiation on it. On his last check up after the radiation they found that the radiation had blown apart the cancer that was pressing on his back muscle. You would think that would have been great news, right. Because it was blown apart they can not do surgery because it has now spread everywhere, what was once ONE is now 10000000 pieces. Dave can not win for losing in this battle. Anyway, I am still trying to raise money for him and his kids as we do not know how long he has, and we would like to make it as stress free as possible and create happy memories for everyone around him.

The days are just flying by for me now. Already another week is gone! Time to clean up from the week and get things set ...
