It's over! Today I untangled myself from the idiocy of Google Pay for what was the domain name for my weblog. Thus the weblog has reverted to it's original address: www.knitsonthebus.blogspot.com.

Same author, same blog -- Original Address since February 2003. No more worries about missing autorenwal for the pittance it cost every year. No more worries about using a different e-mail to get notifications because Google wouldn't use my regular one. No trying to get help to handle the problem and getting either a robot or a human who was willing but unable to help because that problem was part of his purview.

GOD SAVE US FROM THE IDIOCY OF AI AND THE COMPLEXITIES OF A CORPORATION SO LARGE IT USES ROBOTS AND FAQS TO DEAL WITH HUMANS STRUGGLING TO GET AN ANSWER TO A SIMPLE QUESTION!!!

Yesterday I was with other artists setting up for the *first* "Under $200 Art Market" at the Lacombe Performing Arts Centre -- on today through Sunday in the theatre at the Centre. I submitted four "soft" quilted hangings and four art quilts mounted on canvas and framed. I am thankful for the patience of Alison Clayton and her volunteers, as I've never submitted quilted hangings to one of their shows -- and had to provide instructions on how to sell them!

If one is purchased, the purchaser receives BOTH the hanging and th dowel that is used to hang it -- but please, save the 's' hooks to be returned to me! ;-)

I will be there Sunday afternoon, volunteering on the cash desk and helping with the first part of returning any unsold art work to the artists. That said, we hope that there will be very little to return -- and that most of this beautiful work will find new homes!
