🎉BIG NEWS 🎉
The last five years have been bananas.
For five years I have hustled my rear off building this business. And while I am beyond proud of how far I’ve come and what I’ve created, it hasn’t come without cost. I’ve forced myself to do the impossible by trying to be everything to everyone at all times, only to be left feeling like I have fallen short on all accounts. I’ve powered through multiple diagnoses and health crises, through incredible grief and loss. And on the other side there is a lot more regret than I’d like to admit.
Regret that I never learned how to balance the needs of my family and my self against the commitments I had made to my clients. Regret that I stopped knowing how to have boundaries, and allowing myself the permission to say no without incredible guilt. Regret for always taking on too much, and never slowing down enough to truly enjoy where I was standing.
So I’m done. Not done creating, because I can never be done with that. It’s legitimately in my DNA. But done with running a custom-made-to-order business.
I still have lots left to do with what I’ve built, and lots left you haven’t seen. But I am actively choosing to go about it in a way that protects the sacredness of my family, and allows me the space to take care of myself in a way I deserve.
