Hi, Barbie!
I thought today would be a good day to announce what we have been working on over here at Little Boho!
Making Beanies is truly a passion of mine. I love hats. All hats! I’m more confident in a hat and I feel more secure in a hat. So, making and selling beanies has fulfilled my cup for the last 8 years.
I have known in my heart that I needed to make a change earlier this year, after years of being a special needs Mom that works from home, I feel the natural isolation and loneliness.
Recently I had an idea and I couldn’t stop thinking about it… A Children’s Spa & Event Centre. While pregnant with my first son, I completed an Esthetic’s Program out West. The thought of creating a relaxing spa in a children’s setting really motivated me. Sensory overload is a real thing, even for children not on the spectrum. Having a calming and relaxing space where boys and girls can express them selves with colour seems beautiful.
And we won’t stop there, our hope is to provide a range of events from community activities to birthday parties. From Spa Day, Lego, Paint, Bracelet Making…. These parties will be intimate and fun. There is no pressure to invite a dozen friends, if your child’s circle is small it’s really nice to have a space they can go to celebrate with one or two friends and feel special.
We will have a small boutique in the front with locally made products you can purchase, if you are a small business in NS and want to sell with us, please send me a message! This will be a smaller shop, as my focus is to bring happiness and memories to this town while also show casing some of our town’s best work.
So, for the next couple months our website will look different. We won’t have as much in stock but will continue to add some products to keep some noggins cozy until we open our doors with new products! We do not have an opening date, but promise to keep everyone posted along the way!
