It all started with one simple thought…💭🤔

“I just want cleaner ingredients.” 🐝💛

I never imagined that one decision would lead me to standing in my basement pouring cold process soap, making beeswax wraps, lip balm, lotion bars, and a whole lineup of products for people who are looking for more natural alternatives.

Every product I make is something I wanted in my own home first. Fewer questionable ingredients. Less plastic. More products that actually do what they’re supposed to do.

Funny how one small change can completely change the direction of your life. 💛

Thanks for following along on this crazy little journey and supporting a small Canadian business. It truly means the world.

Every bag is packed by hand with products made in small batches using simple, natural ingredients. From beeswax wraps to cold process soap, lip balm, lotion, and everything in between—it’s pretty amazing knowing something that started at my kitchen table is now making its way into homes across Canada. 💙

Hi! I’m Mary-Lyn, the face behind Salt Water Ju**ie. 👋

One question I get asked all the time is…

“Why Salt Water Ju**ie?”

The answer is actually pretty personal.

My dad grew up on the Bay of Fundy on Canada’s East Coast, in New Brunswick-so you could say salt water runs through my veins. Growing up, I spent my life drawn to the water, and no matter where I am, it always feels like home. Naming my business Salt Water Ju**ie just felt right.

Ironically, the business itself started nowhere near the ocean. 🌊

It started in my kitchen. 👩🏻‍🍳⏲️

I wanted to reduce the amount of single-use plastic we were throwing away, so I began making beeswax wraps. They quickly became something we couldn’t live without. Then I started gifting them to family and friends… and before long, people were asking if they could buy them.

That tiny idea has grown into so much more than I ever imagined.

Today, Salt Water Ju**ie has expanded to include:
🐝 Beeswax Wraps
🧴 Beeswax Body Lotion
💋 Lip Balms
🪵 Bowl & Board Butter
🧼 Cold Process Soap
…with plenty more ideas still buzzing around in my head.

Every product I make has the same purpose: replace everyday products full of ingredients we can’t pronounce with simple, natural alternatives that actually work.

Beeswax has become one of my favourite natural ingredients, and it’s amazing how many ways it can be used to replace things we use every single day.
