Second Chance is a new & gently used second-hand clothing boutique. Proceeds support Bethesda House

Second Chance Thrift Shop is a gently used second-hand clothing store located in Bowmanville, Ontario. It was established in 1990 in an effort to establish and aid the organization. All proceeds from the store directly support Bethesda House and it's outreach programs. Bethesda House is an organization that provides several services such as a 24-hr telephone support line, counselling, support and

a shelter program for abused women, their children and pets. Donations for Bethesda House and Second Chance must be pre-arranged. Please call or email the Outreach Manager at:

Calling all Moms! As you are changing your children's wardrobes, please considering donating to Second Chance Clothing Store new or gently used children's clothes that don't fit your children anymore. In particular, we are looking for donations of formal and semi-formal boys' and girls' clothes size 7-12 years old.
When children come to our shelter with their moms, they often have nothing to wear because they are fleeing dangerous violent and abusive situations.
Donations are accepted Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am to 1pm at 25 King St W in Bowmanville. Call/text Heila at (289)830-5941 to make alternative drop off arrangements
