My beautiful daughter turned 5 today. She is the child that made me a mom. She is kind and loving and she is smart and sneaky. She has lost three teeth and loves to learn. Every day she asks me for more learning papers. It is so fun to watch her learn and grow. And although it's not always perfect, and I have trouble seeing through the times when she can't handle her big emotions, I am so grateful for her and her existence.

Grateful day 5- I'm grateful for modern technology. Even though I don't understand it. Like at all. If the world were somehow to be dependent on me understanding any of it...we would be in big trouble. I'm so grateful for people who understand things and the technology that they create that can make our lives easier and safer and healthier.

I'm so grateful for my parents. Kind, loving, nurturing and very patient. If I can be half as understanding and patient as them then I think I'll be ok. Thinking of all the things that could happen to my kids actually keeps me awake at night and at times, fills me with anxiety. I'm not sure how people handle it but I'm sure with their example and my husband by my side...we can handle it ❤️

Day 2- today was hard and I think it's important to say it when things are hard. Bc life is hard sometimes. But I'm still thankful for my husband. Kind, loving, sweet, supportive and a great dad. Love you sweets❤️

Thankful day 1 - I'm so grateful for my kids. Motherhood is wonderful and hard and beautiful and funny and crazy. And I'm so grateful that I get to see them learn and grow and love. Hopefully I can be ready for the challenges they will no doubt bring. ❤️
