NOW HIRING — PART-TIME SHOP ASSISTANT
We’re looking for a hard-working, motivated Part-Time Assistant to join our very busy embroidery shop!

This is a hands-on position with lots of variety and opportunities to learn new skills.

Duties Include:
• Learning to operate commercial embroidery machines
• Inventory management and organization
• DTF transfers
• Laser etching
• General shop cleaning and organization
• Helping with various day-to-day shop tasks

The Right Person:
• Works hard and takes pride in their work
• Is willing to learn and tackle new skills
• Is a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
• Is reliable, responsible, and organized
• Has a great attention to detail
• Is comfortable in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Can jump in wherever needed and get the job done

We are absolutely willing to train the right person! Experience is not required—but the right person must be punctual, eager to learn, willing to work hard, and not afraid to tackle something new.

Location – Aldersyde, Alberta / Approx 20 Hours per weeks

Contract Position | Equine & Livestock Industry

We’re looking for a fun, creative, reliable Content Creator to help manage social media content for two companies.

What You’ll Do
• Create engaging content for Facebook & Instagram
• Develop posts that connect with equine and livestock audiences
• Schedule and organize social media content
• Capture the personality, products, services, and stories of our business
• Stay current with industry trends, and upcoming events
• Help maintain a consistent and professional social media presence

What We’re Looking For:
Intimate knowledge of the equine and livestock industries is a must. You should understand the people, terminology, lifestyle, products, and culture of these industries—not simply have an interest in them.

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Fun, creative and confident with social media
• A whiz with Adobe or Canva and creating reels
• A strong writer with an authentic voice (doesn’t rely on AI to write content)
• Organized and dependable
• Comfortable working independently
• Familiar with Facebook and Instagram content creation and scheduling
• Able to create content that feels genuine to both our company and the equine and livestock communities

Hey VRH riders here is your chance to show in a very fun class. The Versatility Challenge is going to be included in the Canadian National Quarter Horse Show. Ranch Riding, Working Western Rail and Conformation! Just like the old days you will enter the arena and stay in for all three classes. Grooms can come in and grab your saddle and help change your bridle for the conformation. Hitch N Stich will make sure the top 3 have some fun awards. 🙂 You can enter right up to the night before.

Such an honour to be part of this great show. Congratulations to all of the riders on a great job.

🌵 Hitch N Stitch Design Trail Stakes 🌵

Saturday night delivered a true ranch trail challenge with a world-class pattern that tested every horse and rider.

Competitors took their shot at a purse featuring $1,000 added, plus a $200 add back per rider.

🏆 Champion Debbie Hughes took home nearly $1,500 along with a custom leather jacket. The Top 5 finishers each earned a custom Hitch N Stitch vest.

The quality of horses and horsemanship was something special to watch. A huge thank you to Roxanne & Doug Sapergia of Hitch N Stitch Design for creating an event that everyone wanted to be part of.
