There is a little more to it...
The big reason for SIMPLY is simple - I wanted natural, healthy, and pure products for my family that I was having a hard time sourcing affordably and regularly. So I made them and they're amazing.
But there is more to it - for the last 2 years and 8 months - motherhood and the nurturing role for my family has challenged and expanded me in ways I couldn't have imaged. That while adjusting to living in a new country.
But recently... with Ian's health back (we are so grateful) and having settled in Canada, and Elba being older I found myself seeking out new challenges. New ways to use my creativity, my brain, my hands, and other skills.
And while I love my profession and my passion for it isn't lost (I am an employment relations specialist) - every hour I spend doing it is time away from my family. *I still work on it when Elba is sleeping.
SIMPLY is not just something I can do around my family - it is something I do WITH my family.
It is something Elba can be involved with and see us do. She can learn about "work" rather than have it be something her parents do behind closed doors or away from home.
SIMPLY is a new way for me to challenge myself, learn new things & skills - which excites me. BUT it allows me to do this WITH my family - our nonnegotiable - to be with our littles when they are little. And that is why SIMPLY came to be.
For my family and together with my family. To bring SIMPLY pure and natural products to others homes.
