💕 Love this BonBon Vintage Collective!
First things first, THANK YOU. ❤️ This community means the absolute world to us. Last week we got vulnerable and honest in a public forum about our struggles for survival. The amount of love, encouragement and support that came our way after the fact has been incredibly moving and inspiring. This past weekend we saw our shop bustling and thriving in a way we honestly haven’t in a while. So many of you shared kind words about how much this space means to you or shared about your own struggles in small business. We agree that this place and this dream is worth fighting for. In a world where billionaire capitalists dominate the market with cheap, quick and easy options from Amazon, Shein, Walmart and Winners it’s hard to compete. We’re all struggling. Our locally owned small businesses believe in our communities. They prioritize investing small and local and doing what they can to support local families and businesses. They add colour and character and something to be proud of to our downtowns. Persevering in times like this is tough. But we’re gonna give it our all. And we know our community has our back. In the coming days and weeks we are going to work on bolstering our online presence. Creating new incentives and collaborating to host more events in our space.
