Yesterday I sorted through all my favourite fabrics, the ones I go to when I need some inspiration. Colourful cuttings and prints I’ve collected and saved over the years like old friends. Each piece tells a story and evokes a feeling of creative expression. I’ll use these fabrics to create patches for my new line of toques I’m working on. Today I’m feeling autumn as Fall Equinox is around the corner. Save the date Saturday October 3rd for Kimber Valley Farms Fall market, I’ll be there selling my fun new designs and taking custom orders for Christmas gifts. I’m so excited to announce that Livinlove is now a proud vendor at All Under One Roof, a charming and eclectic consignment store in Durham, Ontario!
I’ve always loved this incredible shop and have spent countless hours browsing the aisles in search of hidden treasures. If you haven’t visited yet, be sure to add it to your bucket list of must-see local favourites in the Grey Bruce area. The lovely owner Bobby and her fantastic staff will be there to greet you with smile. 😊

Heya! Here’s me, here’s my shop, here’s a few cute Collingwood designs I’ve made. It’s been over three years since I posted and that’s a long time! Thanks so much for sticking with me as I navigate the awkward vulnerability of letting go into whatever comes next. I’m excited to share with you what’s new as I relaunch and rebrand Livinlove Alterations and Creations. I’d love to know what you’d like to see more of! The fire is lit 🔥 I have lots of inspiration right now. I know now it’s truly a dance, even in stillness. I never stopped creating or dreaming, I just pivoted my energy on other beautiful things like being a mom, caring for my family and my running my business. I’m learning to balance it all, with gentle attention and focus. That also means staying connected with you and this amazing community. Sew I’m back ~ and creating again! Actually I’ve continued to create over these past few years but just haven’t posted anything in ages 😬 But a young gal here at the market just taught me how to make my first reel so here we go! I’m just here for today at the Collingwood farmers market but stay tuned for more of Livinlove creations popping up in the near future. My shop is always offering one of a kind wearable art too. Keep me in mind for local gifts!

Birch trees continue to be one of my favourite designs. This sweet set went quick once I displayed it on the wall. Happy February ❤️ In the spirit of this month of love I wanted to share a few of things that I adore. Most of you know me as a seamstress and an artist but outside of work hours it’s really important for me to continue playing.

This Cliff Jumper design was one of the top sellers of 2022. Each design is unique because I created it using five different images, as well as hand painting. If you already own one of Livinlove’s original prints you’ll understand what I’m talking about, mostly because I like to share every detail about each piece whether you want to hear it or not 😉😄. Eventually this design will be one print and less opportunity to embellish, but until then I’m enjoying the constant creative process.
