We handcraft belts, dog collars, and leashes from genuine water buffalo hide, and each piece can be custom made to order.

We’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about dropping off clothing — and the answer is yes, you absolutely can.

We also accept items beyond clothing, including electronics and sewing machines.

We wanted to share where everything goes. Fred’s has always been built around recycling, repurposing, and keeping as much as possible out of the landfill.

When you drop items off with us, they’re sorted a few different ways:
• If it’s something we can resell, it may go out on the floor
• If it’s stained, worn, or damaged, it gets repurposed into rags
• Usable items have been shared with organizations such as CP4CP, the Salvation Army, and religious organizations supporting communities in need

Over the years, we’ve also sent dozens of sewing machines with missionaries to communities in need, where they’re used to create clothing and other essential items.

At the end of the day, our goal is simple — keep as much as we can out of the landfill, however we can. ♻️
