Launching a swimwear line two weeks before worldwide travel bans and a global pandemic was unlucky timing to say the least. What I thought was going to be a dream come true and the best decision of my life, quickly shifted into a very eye-opening, stressful and financially strenuous year for not only small business owners, but everyone as a whole. The past year and a half of having Moonstone swim throughout this historic and stressful time in all of our lives upsettingly did not quite go as planned. I did my absolute best to keep Moonstone afloat as long as I could. I have been reflecting over past months and I have had to come to the very heart breaking decision that starting from a clean slate will be what is best for me and my mental health going forward. This isn’t technically a goodbye forever, but simply a goodbye for now. I will be getting rid of all remaining Moonstone inventory and taking a hiatus to re-evaluate how/if I’d like to go forward with the Moonstone brand. This is a very bittersweet time in my life and have been grieving letting go of something I dreamt of for years and invested so much into mentally, emotionally and financially. I will be continuing to post for the remainder of summer and you can still expect e-mails, promos, etc for the duration of the summer months; however, going forward all sales will be final and all gift cards will be able to be used until September 30, 2021.

I am heart broken that I simply couldn't make it work to keep going with the swimwear but am hopeful for what is to come in the future; the amount of support, love, and memories I have received will never be taken for granted.
