With kids back at school, it’s the perfect time to talk about kindness and inclusion.

School is about so much more than reading, writing and learning—it’s also where children learn how to treat one another, celebrate differences and make everyone feel like they belong.

A dream that started long before I ever knew where it would lead…

I recently came across these two little books I wrote as a child, and they brought back such a special memory. Even at a young age, I had a passion for writing—and an undeniable love for stories that kept you turning the page.

Looking at these books now, I’m reminded that sometimes the dreams we have as children quietly stay with us, waiting for the right moment to come to life.

44 Years later, I finally had the opportunity to make that childhood dream a reality when I wrote Different but Perfect. ❤️

What started with these simple little stories became a journey I never could have imagined. It’s pretty amazing to look back and realize that the little girl who loved to write was already giving herself a glimpse of the dream that would one day come true.

Never underestimate the dreams you have as a child. Some are meant to stay with you. 📚✨
