I started very young wanting to help my mom organize functions for her local Royal Canadian Legion. Making a room “sparkle” for each event and arranging the tables with a “pop of colour”, I knew there was something special about this. As my children were growing, and when I found a little time for myself, I started looking for a way to take what I loved to do to the next level. So I became a Certi
fied Wedding Planner through The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada, which is recognized all over the world. A couple years later I did my Destination Wedding Planners Certificate. I love to organize, and I pay attention to even the smallest of details. My creative imagination can take your concept ideas and coupled with my contagious enthusiasm, transform them into an amazing experience for you and your guests. I always remain calm and helpful during your day so that I can handle any little mishap that might occur without letting the festivities miss a beat! The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada taught me all the basics and then some, so I ventured out on my own and created “Who’s Your Planner?” and I have been a Certified Wedding Planner for eight years. The name of my business came as a joke between my dad and I. I was looking for something catchy, and because of my sense of humour, my dad one day said, “How about “Who’s Your Planner” you know like “Who’s Your Daddy”...it might make people giggle when they hear it. I started my business in Ottawa and then shortly after moved out to Alberta, where I worked as a Wedding Consultant on contract with the I Do Weddings Shop in Cold Lake, AB. I took a break for three years as another child came along and needed my attention, and during my break became the Manager of Icings Bridal Boutique in Cold Lake. The time has come to get back to my love and I am so excited to share my passion with you. In my spare time, I am a wife and mother to three amazing children. We enjoy our time together as a family and share it with our beautiful dog Bella.
