Out of Office Confessionals: Trading the desk for a spot by the lake today to knock out some administrative work for my day job. Technically a day off but it’s height of our busy season so there are really no days off.

It’s a nice change of pace—stepping away from the Love and a Passport orders and design files for a few hours to find a different kind of focus.

It’s a good reminder that, these days, the office is wherever you decide to plant your feet. Sometimes, you just need a breeze and a view to get the job done right.

Back to the grind—but with a much better view. 🌿💻

Tried to make a lavender cyanotype print, failed miserably, and threw a sailboat from my bookshelf on it out of spite. Now the lavender is subtly showing through the sails of the boat. Apparently, just “seeing what sticks” is just my "artistic process." You’re welcome ;)
