Something else I keep wondering about: I’ve seen it reported that Lindsay supposedly said something along the lines of, “I killed the kids and tried to kill myself. The kids are in the basement.”
But what if what she was actually trying to communicate was, “He killed the kids and tried to kill me. The kids are in the basement”?
I haven’t personally heard the call, and I’m not even sure how clearly she was physically able to speak at that point, so I’m NOT saying this is what happened. It just makes me wonder whether something she was trying to say could have been misunderstood.
Then, after everything she had been through, could she have woken up disoriented, with gaps in her memory, and eventually believed the version of events she was being told?
Again, this is purely a theory/question. I wasn’t there, I haven’t heard the actual call, and it isn’t my place to determine anyone’s guilt. There are just so many details in this case that make me question whether everything happened exactly the way we’ve been told.
