👻 Spooky eyes? Yes. Scary eye infections? No thanks! 🎃
Halloween is the perfect excuse to get creative with your costume, and coloured contact lenses can certainly take your look to the next level!
But here’s something you might not know: Even decorative contact lenses without a prescription for vision correction are considered medical devices. 👀
Before you transform your eyes this Halloween, remember:
🕷️ Get properly fitted. One size does not fit all when it comes to contact lenses.
🎃 Skip the costume shops. Only purchase lenses from reputable, authorized sources.
👻 Never share your lenses. Not even with your best ghoul friend!
🦇 Practice proper hygiene. Always wash your hands and follow the recommended cleaning and storage instructions.
Improperly fitted or poorly cared-for lenses can lead to serious infections, corneal damage, and even vision loss.
At Horseshoe Valley Eye Care, we’re all for a little Halloween fun, just not at the expense of your eye health!
Keep the scares in your costume, not your eye care! 💜
