Now Hiring: Front of House / Entry-Level Fashion Designer
Sewhelpful! — Kingston, Ontario

Love fashion, sewing and working with people? Sewhelpful! is looking for a friendly, organized person to welcome customers and support our alterations and garment-care services.

This role suits a recent fashion design graduate or someone with basic sewing knowledge who wants practical experience working with garments and customers.

Your role will include:

Greeting customers and listening to their needs.
Taking in garments for alterations, repairs and dry cleaning
Recording clear instructions and keeping orders organized.
Assisting with fittings and learning how to identify alteration needs.
Processing payments and contacting customers when orders are ready.
Communicating with our sewing team and keeping the front counter tidy.

We’re looking for someone who:

Has an interest in fashion, fit and garment construction.
Has basic sewing skills or fashion design training.
Is comfortable speaking with customers.
Pays attention to detail and follows through.
Is reliable, willing to learn and works well with a team.

Customer service experience is an asset. Training will be provided in our systems and procedures.
