The goal is in the name: Independent Business Care Centre. 

I want you help you become a completely independent business owner, and I aim to do that providing you with a level of care that will get you there. 

It won’t happen overnight because every solopreneur is juggling all of the balls in the air, but little by little as each month goes by I’ll help you dial in your processes and fill in your knowledge level so that after a few weeks or months, you’ll graduate from needing me at all.

Just like with fostering animals, graduation is the goal!

Ever since I started my practice in 2018, I’ve been a part of a variety of memberships on and off to help me explore and master various topics relating to bookkeeping, but also to entrepreneurship and marketing.

Clearly, I still need more work on marketing. 🤣

Many of them were Facebooks groups, especially back then, but in recent years they’ve been hosted in platforms like Circle, Thinkific, Kajabi, or Skool.

Memberships are workgroups of peers, working together to help everyone achieve their individual goals.

I’ve chosen to host mine in Membership.io because it’s Canadian, co-founded by Stu McLaren | Membership Expert in 2019 and headquartered in Brantford, Ontario.

I’m doing a series this week focusing on “What does bookkeeping support look like?” Today’s bonus day features a totally different approach. No QBO. No funnels. No marketing. Just a value-based offer, word of mouth, and a decent spreadsheet.

What I hope you take out of this example is that your back office processes don’t have to be elaborate. Consistency is what’s most important.
