It is Mike's turn on the 1 Keep 1 Find.
The antique Stromberg Carlson Co 1935 radio of Mike's great aunt from Montreal is a keep and proudly displayed in The Loft. The find for sale is a sushi set which you can see along with other finds in The Big White Barn.

Keep and Find of the week .
The keep of the week is this book of Nature that was used at the Old Briar Hill School House. Interesting fact Wendy's Country Market was originally home of The Briar Hill School House. We will keep the book in the loft for you to look through.
The Find of the week for sale is this pair of vintage boxer dog salt and pepper shakers.

So looks like 1 find to keep and 1 to sell. I see a trend here lol . I found one of the first books I got as a baby, from my Grandma Banks. " Two Stories about Wendy" which we will keep in the Loft for parents to read to their little ones.
The other find is a couple sets of beautifully embroidered pillow covers that mom found. We are fairly certain they are made from flour bags. It was common practice to Make Do and repurpose everything a person could back then .

We are excited about starting this next chapter.
One of my personal favourite reasons is not always about the finds for the Barn but going through family history with mom and spending time uncovering our own treasures and being able to share history .
