💗 Dolly said it best… and somehow, right now, those words hit a little differently.
The world lost an absolute legend this week.
Dolly Parton wasn't just an incredible singer and songwriter. She was a woman who built a life around her values — hard work, kindness, generosity, laughter, dreaming BIG… and making sure she actually lived along the way.
And this quote feels like the perfect reminder:
“Don’t get so busy making a living that you forget to make life.”
How easy is it to get caught up in the doing?
The work.
The house.
The responsibilities.
The endless list of things that need to be done.
But life isn't meant to be one giant to-do list.
Make the memories.
Take the trip.
Say yes to the adventure.
Spend time with the people you love.
Laugh until your stomach hurts.
Do more of what makes YOU feel alive. ❤️
Because at the end of the day…
We don't want to look back and realise we were so busy making a living that we forgot to make a life.
