Sorry for not posting today, but Ive been dealing with this beautiful cat, who for the past week and a bit has been coming to our house and has been such a loving and sweet cat, although shes brought us 2 mouse, 2 chipmunks and even a rat ewwww! Ive been feeding her and I even gave her a quick shower as she was stinky. We called her Mimi, she came to realize thats the name we gave her. So this morning I took her to the SPCA to see if she belonged to anyone, and if not if I could have her vaccinated as I wanted to adopt her. She reminds me of myself so much! Independant, yet wants love and care, doesnt want to be picked up or held but loves gentle touch.
I love her so much, but to my sadness she was microchipped, and belongs to someone in the area. So I left her there as the owner was apparently very happy to hear she was found. Her real name is Puma, and she just moved here with her owner a month ago. I was heartbroken on my way home without her. But then an hour later her owner reached out to me, and invited me to come visit her, and her 3 babies!!!! So Monday I will go visit Mimi, or Puma is her given name, and her babies who are all 1 year old. I am so relieved, and the owner, a sweet lady named Brenda, told me to just let her know when she comes around here to visit, just for peace of mind. Ive never owned a cat, but this girl took my heart!! Im just SO happy Ill still get to see her, and I do hope she comes around and visits us often. Shes only a couple streets away, and who knows, maybe we will take in one of her babies!

Although Im sad she belongs to someone else, Im happy I was able to bring relief and happiness to that person, and that Ill still get to see her!
