This orange and forest green kanchipuram saree was one I've been waiting to wear all year. Though the colour combination isn't entirely new, it is definitely new in my personal collection. I have so many blues, pinks, and some green but when I saw the orange it stood out!

For this particular saree, I was very gentle when ironing the chest and front pleats down. It is a saree that would look just as elegant (if not more) if the pallu was left out, so I wanted to make sure I didn't leave behind any crisp folded lines. A combination of a simple body and statement blouse, just the saree for a summer wedding.

This cream and red saree was so nostalgic. Surprisingly a lightweight silk was harder to work with. But with some clips and pins we made it work. She wanted somewhat thin pleats that had full coverage, so pleated and draped it as above. ✨️

This beautiful peacock blue saree is one of Ammamma's. I love the simplicity and softness of vintage sarees and grateful to have a few of her pieces that I can now call my own. Here are a few snippets of the pleat and drape after a family wedding. 💙🦚

2025 has been an eventful year. It involved a lot of exploring of interests and reflecting on what matters. While exploring, starting a saree pleating/draping business was always in the back of my mind. Though pleating sarees had been an interest to me for a few years now, I've always hesitated making the leap outside of my friends/family circle.

This summer I made the leap and was so surprised and grateful to the clients and sarees that came to life from it! Thank you to all of you for giving me the chance, and I'm excited to keep perfecting the craft to ensure you can continue twirling elegantly in your gorgeous sarees in 2026. 🌸🥻

This unique sage green and salmon pink kanchipuram saree is one of my ammamma's. ❤️

It was easy to press, and the pleats fell right into place. I'm forever grateful to have a collection of traditional sarees that are not only fashionable but are a constant reminder of the women before me. 🌸🥻
