A little behind-the-scenes magic is happening at Lume. ✨

We’re closing our doors October 13th & 14th to work on a few things we’ve been dreaming up. We promise we’re not just rearranging the shelves for the hundredth time. 😉

Thank you for your patience, your love, and for always cheering on our little corner of Manotick. We know unexpected closures aren’t ideal, and we appreciate you bearing with us while we make a little room for what’s next.

Good things take time, and we think you’ll love what’s coming. 💛 Xxoo

Okay, this is a big one for us. 🤍

For the first time, we’re hiring for a role this involved at Lume. And if we’re being completely real, I’m kind of looking for my work BFF.

Someone who will eventually finish my sentences, keep me grounded when the creative ideas are coming faster than I can organize them, and be just as excited about bringing those ideas to life. Someone who can see the bigger picture AND somehow remember the tiny detail I forgot about.

There’s shop life, styling, customers, events, facilitators, emails, calendars, contracts and lots happening behind the scenes. I’m looking for someone who wants to learn all the pieces, take real ownership of them and eventually know Lume almost as well as I do.

This one feels special. I’m not just looking to fill some shifts. I’m looking for my person and someone who wants to grow alongside Lume for the long haul.

Looking for more than a side gig? So are we. ✨
