Because who needs free time when you can spend hours perfecting your DIY packaging? 😅
But in all honesty, it’s definitely worth it. It’s the little details like this that set small businesses apart from giant companies ✨

And I love sending out every sticker order with a dose of bookish nostalgia 📚 💌

I found a library envelope template through Pinterest, customized it in Canva and added text, uploaded it to Design Space and added cut and score lines, cut it with my mom’s Cricut, and glued each one by hand. Two different glue rollers failed me, so yes… I’m back to borrowing my 8-year-old’s trusty glue stick. The inserts are a little simpler, thankfully! And my 3-inch stickers fit inside perfectly.

Friends, with all due respect… this is NOT the appropriate response when you see an item you like from a small business.

Times are tough, and we can’t all afford to shop small all the time. But purchasing an item that is poorly made and based on stolen art is NOT the move.

Making little library-style pockets for my sticker packaging is definitely a labour of love. Every little envelope is cut, folded, and glued by hand (with the help of my Cricut!).

It’s a lot of work for something that might not get much use after an order is opened, but I want every moment with my stationery to feel fun and magical. ✨ I also want to set myself apart from a big business that can’t put this kind of care into each order. 💌
