“God, if this is where You want me, then I’ll trust You.” ❤️

There are moments when life doesn’t look anything like what you prayed for.

The door didn’t open.

The opportunity disappeared.

The relationship changed.

The plan fell apart.

And suddenly, you’re standing in a place you never expected to be.

You start asking, “God, why?”

But maybe the better prayer is:

“God, what are You teaching me here?”

Because sometimes God changes our direction without explaining every detail.

Sometimes He removes what we wanted because He knows what we need.

Sometimes He makes us wait because He is preparing us for something we aren’t ready to carry yet.

“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” Proverbs 16:9 (ESV)

So I don’t want to run ahead of God just because I’m uncomfortable.

I don’t want to force a door He hasn’t opened.

I don’t want to choose my own way simply because His way requires patience.

I want to trust Him.

Even when I don’t understand.

Even when I’m disappointed.

Even when I’m waiting.

Because God sees what I cannot see.

He knows what I cannot know.

And He is faithful even when my circumstances don’t make sense.

So today, I surrender my plans.

My timeline.

My expectations.

My fears.

God, You can have it all.

Lead me where You want me to go.

Close the doors You don’t want me walking through.

Open the doors You have prepared.

And give me the faith to follow You wherever You lead.

It’s alright, God.

I may not understand Your plan…

but I trust Your heart. ❤️

“God, I don’t understand the process, but I trust the One who is leading me.”

Maybe this season feels confusing.

Maybe the door you prayed for closed.

Maybe the answer you expected never came.

Maybe you’re looking at your life right now and wondering, “God, why is this happening?”

You prayed for a breakthrough, but received another delay.

You prayed for a yes, but God gave you a no.

You prayed for direction, but all you can see is uncertainty.

But what if God sees what you cannot see?

What if the delay is protection?

What if the closed door is direction?

What if the waiting is preparation?

Sometimes God allows us to walk through seasons we don’t understand because He is doing something deeper than what we asked for.

He is shaping our character.

Strengthening our faith.

Teaching us patience.

And drawing us closer to Him.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5 (ESV)

I don’t need to understand every detail.

I don’t need to know how everything will work out.

I don’t need to see the whole road.

I just need to trust the One who sees the beginning, the middle, and the end.

So today, I surrender my timeline.

I surrender my expectations.

I surrender my plans.

And I surrender my need to understand everything.

God, if You say wait, I’ll wait.
If You say go, I’ll go.
If You close the door, I’ll trust You.
If You change the direction, I’ll follow You.

Because Your ways are higher than mine.

And even when I cannot see what You are doing…

I know You are still good.

It’s alright, God.

I don’t understand it.

But I trust You.

One day, God won’t ask how many people knew your name. He will care about how faithfully you lived for His name.

Your calling isn’t about building your kingdom.

It’s about building His.

Your gifts aren’t meant to make you proud.

They’re meant to make you useful.

Your platform isn’t meant to point people to you.

It’s meant to point people to Christ.

“Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31 (ESV)

So whatever God has placed in your hands…

Do it faithfully.

Do it wholeheartedly.

Do it with excellence.

And above everything else,

do it for His glory.

Your calling may look ordinary to people, but it can be extraordinary when it’s done for God’s glory.

You don’t need a microphone to serve God.

You don’t need a platform to have purpose.

You don’t need thousands of followers to make an impact.

You can glorify God right where you are.

At your workplace.

In your home.

In your community.

In the quiet things nobody applauds.

“Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31 (ESV)

Stop comparing your calling to someone else’s.

God gave you your assignment.

Be faithful with it.

What matters is not how big your calling looks, but how faithfully you carry it.
