Every now and then I come across a wool sweater that won’t shrink even in very hot water. This striped sweater was too nice not to use so I made hot pads from it. They have a layer of heat resistant batting and are backed with fabric from a repurposed wool coat.
See them in person at the Queen City Antique & Vintage Market.

Wool is fire resistant and self-extinguishing, so if accidentally caught on fire, the fire is likely to go out on its own. Unlike man-made materials, wool will not melt if caught on fire.

Vintage wool plaid skirt…repurposed to make these Crossbody Cellphone purses. Coming to the Queen City Antique & Vintage Market.

When designing these purses I thought about what features would make them practical, handy, and of course beautiful.
I settled on these features:
• Zipper Pocket for Cellphone 📱
• Zipper Pocket for Cards, I.D. 💳
• Open back Pocket with Locking Clasp for keys🔑
• Extendible Strap
• Beautiful Hardware

Dusters are made from fleece and repurposed wool coating. Both fleece and wool are excellent at picking up dust. Dusting sleeves fit on popular dusting wands. Machine wash and dry. No fabric softener….the more static the better at collecting the dust.
