In our last post, we asked if you could tell what was wrong with the prints. Now it’s time for the follow-up challenge!

Both designs came from the same artwork—but they were printed using two different methods. Can you guess which print is on the shirt on top and which one is on the hoodie on the bottom?

Can you spot what’s “wrong” with these prints? 👀

Absolutely nothing. The lighter/empty-looking areas aren’t missing ink—they’re an intentional technique called a knockout.

Instead of printing every section of the design, we remove areas that match the garment color and let the shirt do the work. The result is a cleaner look with less ink, a thinner print, and a noticeably softer feel to wear.
