I made a little of strawberry rhubarb jam when I got home. I had a small sample, it's deliciously tart.
I also did a bit of a tweak in the cutting garden. The crows have extricated some of the sunflowers that I had planted, so I decided to over plant one row with some red and yellow onions and the other with dill. We will.see how many sunflowers I actually get.
I still have a spare row so I'll see what I come up with.lol
Since my main machines are getting some much needed love, I have to go get one of my backups out of the magic closet.

I took my sewing machine and serger to The Wee Fabric Shop in St Andrews today for a bit of a spa day.
They were full of glitter from prom season, and indeed a good annual cleaning and oiling. I also had a teeny tiny mystery screw fall out of my sewing machine. So gotta figure out where it came from.
It was not a warm day on the coast, but it still was nice to have the time to wander around. I haven't had much time as of late.
I tried a new scoop of a new Sussex ice cream...a bounty bar something or other. Had lunch at the Clam digger, but I didn't want fish so I had my old stand by, a burger. It was excellent.

My sewing machine and serger are going on a spa day, right off shortly. They have to get de glitterd from prom season.

Happy National Sewing Machine Day to the machine that’s heard all our muttering, stitched through our late-night “one more seam” decisions, and faithfully survived being sewn over pins 😂

The studio will be hopping shortly.
I have 5 dresses being picked up and 3 new clients.
As you can imagine, with all the pickups this week, the making closet was getting pretty lonely. By the end of the month it will be at capacity again, full of wedding gowns.🥰

Surprisingly, I'm not that sore from all the time I spent in the garden yesterday. I do it when I can make the time...Work comes first!
Now it's time to get my last 2 stragglers done. Yes, I can get 20 dresses ready for pickups and have 3 second fittings ready....it's not recommended, but it is possible.

This chick is done for the day. I booked my day in the garden. 3 hours this morning and 2 hours tonight.
