Join us for Winter Blues Bingo on Friday, February 27, 2026 at the Croatian National Home in Welland.

Doors open at 6PM. Bingo begins at 7PM.

Tickets are $35 and include one bingo book and pizza.
Additional books are $10 each.
Cash bar. 19+ event.

The latest edition to our sewing machine fleet! This machine is called a blind stitch machine. It is used for dress pants, curtains, dresses and in the construction of many other tailored garments. It is a crucial machine for replicating the same types of finishes that is found on many tailored garments. This machine is replacing an older machine that had lived a good live, but needed to go to sewing machine heaven. This machine features improved tension control, for sewing spandex fabric that is so commonly seen now in women’s formalwear.

Have you ever had a jacket or shirt that didn't have the closure you wanted? This was the case with this jacket. It came with a snap closure that was simply not adequate. The customer purchased these lovely sparkle buttons, and we added a beautiful, handstitched keyhole buttonhole to match.

With the novel threats against many fundamental Women's rights we are facing in this day and age, it is ever so important to continue to fight for all women around the world. It is equally as important to remember those who fought so hard for, and many whom tragically lost their lives fighting for the rights and freedoms of women in Canada, and the world.

We remain steadfast in our support of Women's rights to equal pay, equal opportunities to employment and Women's reproductive rights.

We are very fortunate to have an absolutely incredible team of women who work here at Fontaine's Tailor Shoppe, and without whom, we would not be able to offer the exceptional quality and great service that our clients have come to know.
