I have a theory about beaches...
I have a theory that nobody is their stressed-out self at the beach.
Something happens when your phone is tucked away, your feet are in the sand, and the only thing on your schedule is deciding whether you're going for another swim.
Maybe that's why I keep coming back. Not because every beach is different, but because every beach makes me feel the same: present.

One of the reasons I love traveling with our son is that it slows me down.
Kids notice things adults have forgotten to look for.
The shape of a cloud.
A tiny crab on the beach.
A flower growing through a crack in the sidewalk.
The excitement of pressing an elevator button.
When I'm traveling on my own, I'm often focused on getting to the next thing.
When I'm traveling with our child, I'm reminded that sometimes the point isn't getting there.
It's noticing everything along the way.
And maybe that's the kind of travel memory that matters most.

I have a confession.
When we launched these designs, I thought I knew which one would be my favourite.
I was wrong.
My favourite seems to change every time I pack for a trip.
Maybe it's because every pattern reminds me of a different kind of adventure—lake weekends, beach vacations, family getaways, or slow summer afternoons by the water.

The best travel advice I ever received (probably from Karl honestly haha) had nothing to do with flights, hotels, or packing.
It was this: leave room for spontaneity.
Some of my favourite experiences weren't on an itinerary. They happened because we took a different road, stayed a little longer, or said yes to something unexpected.
Not every moment needs to be planned to be worthwhile.
This photo session with two friends in Mexico was one of those moments. Its still one of my favourites - completely unplanned, so utterly perfect.

It started with a love for being outside. Weekends at the lake. Family trips. Beach days that turned into sunset evenings. The kind of moments that remind you to slow down and be present.

Along the way, we found ourselves constantly searching for products that were practical, well-designed, and actually fit the way we lived. We wanted something that packed small, dried quickly, and looked good enough to bring everywhere.
The more we looked, the more we felt there was room to create something ourselves.

What started as an idea quickly turned into late-night conversations, endless research, product samples arriving at our door, and a lot of learning along the way.
There were moments when it felt exciting and moments when it felt overwhelming. But every step brought us closer to building something we were genuinely proud of.

Today, when I see our towels packed in a beach bag, tossed in a suitcase, or stretched out on a dock at the lake, I'm reminded that this brand was never just about a product.
It's about making it a little easier for people to spend more time doing the things they love.
And honestly, that's the best part of this whole journey.
