Chautauqua Day Prep is officially underway!

HD Designs will be set up on June 6th from 10AM–4PM with lots of new goodies coming to the market!

If you’re hoping to snag some “Sexsmith” themed items, make sure to come early — I’ll be doing my best to bring a big variety, but some items may go fast!

You’ll find things like:

• & maybe even a few surprise items 👀

Happy Sunday everyone! ☀️

One thing about running a small business is that there’s never really such a thing as a full “day off.” Even on weekends I’m usually answering messages, replying to emails, checking comments, organizing orders, and planning the next busy week ahead. 🤍

And honestly… I wouldn’t have it any other way. You all have been keeping me SO incredibly busy lately and I’m beyond thankful for every order, share, recommendation, and message that supports HD Designs. It truly means the world to me!

With summer finally here, I’m also trying to make a little more time for family, farm life, and soaking up the sunshine when I can. ☀️🐴

Going forward, any messages sent Friday afternoon through Sunday will be responded to on Mondays. I’ll still do my best to get back to everyone as quickly as possible, and I appreciate your patience more than you know!

There’s a lot more that goes into these engraved tumblers than most people realize

Behind every finished cup is a whole process — from carefully creating and adjusting each design to make sure every detail engraves crisp and clean, to dialing in the perfect laser settings for every different powder coat colour (because no two colours engrave the same 🤪).

Then comes the not-so-glamorous part 😅
Every tumbler is washed, polished, dried by hand, quality checked, and carefully packed before it heads out the door.

It’s definitely more than just “pressing a button,” but seeing the final product makes every step worth it 🍀

What did everyone get up to this long weekend? ☀️

For me… it looked a lot like cold medicine, coffee, long days in the office, and a boat load of bulk orders 😅
107 tumblers on the go to be exact!

Small business life isn’t always weekends off and quiet holidays — sometimes it means putting in the extra hours behind the scenes to make sure every order is finished on time and exactly how my customers envisioned it. And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. 💕

So incredibly thankful for every single order, share, recommendation, and local customer supporting HD Designs. You’re the reason these busy weekends are possible. 🫶

Join us as we kick off the market season on Chautauqua Day! We'll have "The Snack Lot" with food trucks in the parking lot of the curling rink. Plus, tons of vendors inside - new and returning.

Baking, veggies, garden plants, snacks, crafts, gifts, and more inside the curling rink with children's activities like balloon animals and face painting.

It'll be a great Chautauqua Day in Sexsmith! Saturday, June 6, 10am-4pm.
