March break is over and Spring is making a solid effort to be sprung (5 degrees in Toronto today) 🐌🌀😵‍💫🐚🐢
The good news is I have a buttload (yes a buttload— a medieval unit of measurement, look it up! 🤓) of bright transitional weather outfits ready to take your kiddos into Easter and beyond 🐇🪺🌷☔️🌈🌦️
I have lots of sizes from baby to tween, and everything in between 🥚🐣🐥🐓
Being the pros that they are, my buddies Vinnie and Sal did an impromptu photoshoot from their home in Gananoque to share a sneak peek at the latest drop 😎🤩

Happy New Year! Perfect weather here in Toronto for some Chicken Soup with Rice 🍲 … This Carole King classic was on heavy rotation in our house when my daughter Maddie was little (though she never developed a taste for the actual soup strangely)! The song was part of a children’s musical special called “Really Rosie”, written and illustrated by the legendary Maurice Sendak, with music by King. The cartoon was broadcast on CBS in 1975 and there is an accompanying book that I’ve never seen. Anyone out there have a copy?

Wow, just noticed “foal”🐴 is an anagram of “loaf” 🍞! … Wow again! You also can’t spell “fillyandfoal”, without “landfill”— according to the David Suzuki Foundation, nearly 87% of the fibre input used for clothing is either burned or ends up in a landfill. So shopping vintage and secondhand is a great way to lessen that impact if you’re shelling out over the holidays (back to turtles now see what I did?)🐢🌀🐚

Teeny tiny last minute drop at Baa Baazaar in case you’re still shopping for any Teenies or Tinies!! Brought in two pairs of lil leather shoes, two matching pairs of Osh Kosh corduroys, two turtle doves (jk), and a few other cutie patootie thingies 🎁
[💘 Honestly, I can’t believe how much has sold since the last time I was in, and how continues to be the most whimsical and magical space, especially during the holidays OMG 💖]

Things have been getting mighty cute and cozy over at over the past few weeks (yes, even more than usual❣️) — we’ve been bringing in some fun wintry additions to our rack, including plenty of handmade sweaters, festive dresses, classic denim jackets, AND there are even more Book Worm vintage books on the bottom row of the book shelf, so wiggle on over there!
