Noble Cashmere aims to restore pre-owned cashmere garments at an affordable price!

Our Sweater Credit Program is back! If you have 100% cashmere garments that you no longer wear, bring them to us and we’ll give you a credit to use in-store!

Credit Amounts

We assess each garment individually, but generally offer:
$15 credit for sweaters in good condition (no holes, no stains, etc.)

$10 credit for sweaters with minor damage (one small hole that we can recondition)

Tip: To check for holes at home, hold your sweater up to a bright light.

We’re unable to offer credit for items that are shrunken or too damaged—but if you’d like to donate them, we’re happy to accept them and ensure they are upcycled or recycled responsibly.

Bring your clean, 100% cashmere garments to our pop-up during open hours:

We’ll evaluate your pieces on the spot and issue you an electronic credit note to use in-store.

A note about timing:
We encourage you to use your credit before the end of our current sale (February 13th, 2027). While your credit never expires, we can’t guarantee when or where our next pop-up will be—so this is the best time to use it.

We Are Afraid!

Moths love cashmere as much as you do! And while we adore cashmere, clothing moths are definitely not welcome!

At Noble Cashmere, we take moth prevention very seriously. Every shipment is frozen for up to two weeks before each garment is thoroughly washed, carefully inspected, and steamed. We take great care to ensure our cashmere is beautifully restored, in like-new condition, and ready to go home with you!

So, how do clothing moths get into our homes?

These unwelcome visitors usually arrive in one of two ways. They either fly in through open doors, windows, vents, or other small openings, or hitch a ride on clothing, carpets, furniture, and other textiles brought into the home.

Why do moths love cashmere?

It’s not actually the moths themselves that eat your beautiful sweaters — it’s their larvae! They feed on keratin, a natural protein found in animal fibres such as cashmere, wool, mohair, alpaca, and silk.

They’re particularly attracted to garments with traces of body oils, perspiration, or food, and they love dark, quiet, undisturbed spaces. That forgotten sweater at the back of your closet? A perfect hiding place!

So, how can we protect our lovely cashmere?

Keep it clean! Moth larvae are especially attracted to worn garments. Between wears, we suggest keeping your cashmere out of dark closets. Drape it over a chair or hang it on the back of a door, where it gets some light, air, and movement.
Wash before storing. After several wears, give your cashmere a gentle wash and allow it to dry completely before folding it and storing it in your cupboard or closet.

Store with care. Clean, dry cashmere can be stored in well-sealed containers or protective garment bags, particularly when putting it away for the season.

Give your closet some attention! Regular vacuuming, airing out your garments, and occasionally rearranging those lovely stacks of sweaters will help discourage unwanted visitors.

We love being part of our community!

At Noble Cashmere, keeping it local is important to us. We employ local people, support our local economy, and take pride in the work we do right here in Toronto.

While our cashmere is sourced from all over the world, the care and restoration happen right here. Our little studio hums along all year, carefully restoring and preparing thousands of beautiful cashmere pieces for our annual Pop-Up.

And we couldn’t ask for a better home than Queen West! We’re so happy to be part of this vibrant neighbourhood, surrounded by so many wonderful independent businesses.

The magic of our store is the incredible selection of colour! With approximately 750 garments in the shop on any given day, there’s always a beautiful rainbow of cashmere to explore.

Our pop-up is back!

This fall marks the fifth year in our lovely space at 706 Queen Street West - and we can’t wait to welcome you back!

Over the past year, we’ve been pouring our hearts into curating another truly special collection, and this year we’re bringing you pieces from all over the world.

Expect an incredible selection of high-quality, interesting and unique 100% cashmere finds, alongside new, locally sewn in-house designs - including cozy hoods and a huge selection of our signature double-ply mittens.

This year we’ll be here a bit longer than past years - all the way through to mid-February. We hope this gives you plenty of time to visit, explore the collection and find your perfect fit and style.

And remember, we restock every day, so there’s always something new to discover!
