Back-to-school can be exciting and still feel heavy.

Teacher moms are stepping back into two worlds we care deeply about — the kids we’re raising at home and the kids we’ll spend the year teaching and supporting.

That’s a lot of care. A lot of responsibility. A lot of heart.

Loving it doesn’t make it weightless. 🤍

And to the teacher dads and other educator parents living their own version of this too — I see you.

Back-to-school in 2026 feels different.

Teacher moms are navigating a changing world from both sides — at home and at school.

A lot has changed.
But so has what we know.

And that matters. 🤍

Save it for the week they both come back online at once.

If you’re a teacher mom reading this thinking, “this is exactly how it feels”… you’re not alone. 🤎

Back-to-school season is never just one emotion…it’s all of them, all at once.

I’m Paraskevi, and I write for the women living in both worlds: home and classroom.

Follow for more teacher-mom truths, because you found your people. Save it for the days you need it or share it with another teacher mom so she feels less alone 🤍

We’re allowed to tell the truth about the things we love.

Teaching can be hard and still be deeply meaningful.
Motherhood can be hard and still be one of the greatest joys of our lives.

And teacher moms? We’re allowed to acknowledge the importance of what we do without minimizing it, apologizing for it, or pretending we have it all figured out.

There is purpose in both of these worlds.
And I’m really proud to be part of both. 🤎

Send this to a teacher mom who should be proud of herself too — and tell me: what’s something about being a teacher mom you think we should say out loud more often?
