Taking Cycy to visit some real life superheroes at the local fire station turned into the sweetest core memory 🚒🥹

Huge thank you to the team at Toronto Fire Station 426 and uncle dmckenzie89 for making his day—he was completely mesmerized getting to check out the trucks, watch a rookie do a ‘turnout drill’, and test out the hose!

I loved all the natural light coming through our front room window, but feeling like we were living in a display window? Not so much 😅
Instead of buying new I up-cycled an unused tablecloth into a custom cafe curtain for virtually nothing! A quick cut, a few stitches, and simple brass hardware install turned a major design dilemma into our favourite cozy detail.

Why didn’t I do this sooner???

The most annoying drawer in my house just got the most satisfying upgrade.

No more jagged cardboard edges, fighting with boxes that fall apart or struggling with plastic wrap - just smooth cutting and a drawer that actually closes. It’s a small detail, but it makes the biggest difference when you’re trying to complete kitchen tasks quickly.

Who else has the chaos drawer that needs this treatment??
