To my neighbor that thought 10 O’CLOCK on a Saturday morning was a good time to start installing sewer pipes in front of his house, I’ve already called the police. 🚨😡

Some of us are trying to SLEEP. I did not want to wake up to banging pipes before noon on a weekend.

I already contacted the police once this morning and I’ll do it AGAIN if this keeps happening. Weekends are supposed to be peaceful, not filled with nonstop noise.

This neighborhood used to be quiet and respectful.

People think they can just tear up their front yard whenever they want with ZERO consideration for anyone else.

Unreal.

So I just had my HVAC repaired last week, thought everything was handled INSIDE like a normal job.

Fast forward to today I’m walking around my house and I see this BRIGHT YELLOW LINE running along the outside of my house.

Tell me how I’m just now finding out about this??
I call the company and they’re like, “oh yeah we had to replace the line, no extra charge.”

I DON’T CARE IF IT WAS FREE why would you NOT tell me you were running a damn yellow line across my house??

This looks like absolute s**t. Total eyesore. Completely changes how my house looks.
This was NEVER mentioned in the bid. Not once.
So now I’m just supposed to live with this??

Because right now I’m seriously considering pressing charges over this. You don’t just alter someone’s house without telling them.

What would you do in this situation???

MAYBE I AM BEING TOO PICKY, BUT THIS KIND OF PARKING REALLY BOTHERS ME.

I walked out of the store and noticed a motorcycle parked diagonally across the yellow striped area instead of using an actual parking space.

I understand motorcycles are smaller than cars.

I understand they do not need much room.

But those marked areas are usually left open for a reason.

Sometimes they help with traffic flow.

Sometimes they are there for accessibility.

Sometimes they are simply meant to stay clear.

It may not seem like a huge deal, but parking wherever you want just because your vehicle is smaller feels inconsiderate.

Everyone else is expected to follow the basic rules.

Why should motorcycles be any different?

Would this bother you?

Or do you think it is harmless because the bike is not taking up a full parking spot?

My daughter went to go stay with her dad and step mom for half the summer, but got sent right back home.

My daughter wanted to spend summer with her dad. Ok cool nothing wrong with that at all. So she gets over there for a good week and already talking about coming back home. I asked her why? She said her step mama been acting really weird towards her. And as a mom I instantly felt some type of way so I called them up.

Yall tell me why I called and the woman answered. She said. “I’m glad you called there’s a few problem. Mika is extremely disrespectful towards me. She cussed me out and keeps saying “you ain’t my mama so I don’t gotta listen to you.” Her dad has talked to her about this plenty of times, but I don’t want him to ever feel like he has to choose between me or his children. So I was willing to work thru it. Maybe it’s something all kids go thru when dealing with step parents, but I just wanted you to hear my side as well.” So we finished chatting and I hung up.

I called my daughter back. I didn’t let her know I spoke with her step mom. I told her get her things ready and I’ll be there to get her. So as I pull up she gets in the car and we head back home. Soon as her feet touched my floors I said. “Gimme that dam phone, iPad, and TV.” She looking confused 😕 asfk. I said “naw don’t act confused now lil girl. What in yo got dam mind made you feel it was ok to disrespect that woman in any way shape or form. That woman is your STEP MAMA. She has the right to ask you to do things and discipline you in ways that are ok. That is also your daddy’s partner/wife. That’s disrespectful to him too and even more to me, because yo ssa wasn’t raised that way. Now take you behind in that room. Write ✍️ “I won’t disrespect my bonus mom ever again” 500 times.” I told her now 1/4 of your summer will be spent in this room by yourself until you understand exactly what you did was wrong.” And I went about my day👩🏾‍🦱💕

DoorDash drivers are so dramatic. Yes, I missed the calls. Yes, I didn’t answer the buzzer. That does not mean you just abandon my food on the floor outside the building entrance and disappear. That’s lazy. That’s petty. That’s disrespectful to the meal.

I don’t care if the app says “contactless delivery.” Common sense should tell you that leaving warm food on cold concrete in front of glass doors is not premium service. Bags tipped over, drinks sweating, just sitting there for anyone to grab. If you see I’m not responding, maybe try harder instead of giving up in thirty seconds.

So yeah, I took the food, went straight into the app, one-starred the driver, requested a partial refund, and wrote a full paragraph about “lack of effort and professionalism.” If you’re going to treat my order like trash, I’m going to rate you accordingly. Answering my phone shouldn’t be a prerequisite for basic standards.

I’m tired of FedEx truck drivers thinking they get special privileges. I got the plate info and gave it to the police.

Why is it that everyone else has to find an actual parking spot, but they just throw it in park right in front of the building like the rules don’t apply to them?

There are marked spaces for a reason. The fire lane isn’t a personal loading dock. The front entrance isn’t your VIP zone.

It’s not that hard to park like everyone else. We all have places to be. We all have deliveries and errands and jobs.

If the rest of us can follow basic parking rules, so can you. Enough with the entitlement.

To the owner of the self serve car wash on 5th street, your pressure washer absolutely DESTROYED my paint, and I’ve already sent photos to the police. I’m pressing charges.

HOW does this even happen unless your equipment is completely neglected?

I contacted management and they acted like this is somehow my fault.

Absolute joke of a business.

I took my kids out to eat and this is what the waitress is wearing while taking our order.

She walks up to the table in a tight black shirt and bright orange athletic shorts, standing there like it’s completely normal while my kids are literally sitting across from her trying to order food. Not tucked away, not subtle, just right there in the middle of a packed restaurant like this is part of the uniform now. And yeah, everyone at the table noticed, because it’s hard not to when she’s leaning in with the tablet like that’s appropriate for a family spot.

I didn’t sit there quietly either. I told her straight up this isn’t a gym and she needs to dress like she’s at work, not showing up like she just came from a workout. She got offended, manager came over, and somehow I’m the problem for saying what everyone else is clearly thinking but too scared to say out loud.

I’m not apologizing for expecting basic standards when I’m paying to eat somewhere with my kids. If that makes me “out of line,” then maybe the problem isn’t me, it’s how low the bar has dropped.

My girlfriend really waxed her part down there and expected me to just smile and act like it’s normal… nah, that threw me ALL the way off.

She’s holding it up like it’s some kind of accomplishment and I’m just standing there like ew?? Why does it look like that?? And don’t even get me started, because the whole vibe was off from the jump. I’m supposed to pretend I don’t notice anything and just clap?? Be serious.

I told her straight up that wasn’t it for me and she got mad like I’m crazy for reacting. Like sorry, if something looks wild AND smells off, I’m not about to sit there and lie just to protect feelings. Not everything needs to be shown off like that.

I’d rather not deal with any of that at all than whatever that was supposed to be. If that makes me “toxic” then cool, but I’m not forcing myself to be into something that grossed me out immediately.

I walked into McDonald’s expecting a burger and fries.

Instead, I got a guilt trip sitting right on the table.

There was a giant sign reminding customers of everything employees do.

They take your order.

Prepare your food.

Fill drinks.

Grab napkins and condiments.

Fix mistakes.

Keep the line moving.

And then came the line:

**“TIP LIKE YOU NOTICED.”**

And honestly, that is exactly where people start getting annoyed.

Nobody is saying fast-food workers do not work hard.

They absolutely do.

Customer service is stressful. Food service is exhausting. Dealing with the public all day can wear anyone down.

Workers deserve respect.

But customers are exhausted too.

Everywhere you go now, someone is asking for a tip.

Coffee shops.

Food trucks.

Delivery apps.

Counter service.

Tablets being spun around before you even get your food.

And now even grabbing a quick burger comes with a reminder that employees did the job they were hired to do.

That is where tipping culture starts feeling less like appreciation and more like pressure.

Not because people hate workers.

Not because everyone is cheap.

But because every normal transaction now seems to come with a side of guilt.

At some point, it stops feeling like:

**“Tip if you appreciated the service.”**

And starts feeling like:

**“Here are all the reasons you should feel bad if you don’t.”**

That is why this debate keeps blowing up.

Most people do not mind rewarding great service.

What they hate is feeling pressured before they have even taken a bite.

So be honest:

Would a sign like this make you tip more?

Or would it make the whole meal feel awkward before it even starts?
