Finally put them on the wall.

These little woven pieces have been sitting around for way too long, waiting for their little corner at studio. And now they’re finally up there, keeping my crochet friends company.

I love how the soft colours and tiny details feel together — quiet, cozy, and very much like my little yarn world.
Sometimes finishing a project isn’t really the end. Sometimes it just takes a while to find its place.

One of those ideas that sat on my table for way too long.

I’ve had this little strawberry jam jar in my head for a while, but somehow never found the motivation to make it.

And then suddenly… the motivation showed up.

Last night, I just really wanted to see this idea become real — so I started crocheting, kept going, and somehow finished the whole thing in one night.

Cream scalloped cloth, brown string, a little handmade label, and a jar full of strawberry jam.

Sometimes an idea just needs to wait until the right moment finds you.

Not every piece is meant to be finished.

Today I chose to cut apart a weaving I'd been working on. It wasn't because I couldn't finish it—it simply didn't feel right.

As much as I wanted to keep going, I knew it wasn't a piece I truly believed in. So instead of forcing it, I let it go.

Creating by hand isn't only about making beautiful things. It's also about knowing when to begin again.

Sometimes starting over is part of the process. And I'm okay with that.

My hands have been busy, but my heart has been very calm lately.

Creating these little animal friends in both weaving and crochet has become my favourite way to slow down. One stays at home as a tiny piece of art, while another comes along in a pocket or on a bag.

It's the same little friend, told through two different crafts.
I love that they belong together.

Introducing my first collection of one-of-a-kind framed textile artworks.

I completely reworked the woven backgrounds for these three little friends, experimenting with different textures, colours, and weaving techniques until everything felt just right. After that, I finally found the perfect wooden frames to complete each piece.

Every animal is hand crocheted and paired with a handwoven background, turning each frame into a small textile artwork.

Each piece is a one-of-a-kind original. There will only ever be one of each design.

Lately, weaving has become my quiet place.

I think I found my new meditation hobby — weaving.

After crocheting amigurumi for almost 15+ years, crochet is still my creative mental hobby. It excites me when I design new things, but it also keeps my mind active and thinking a lot.

Weaving feels different.

Right now, it’s more like a meditation hobby for my mind. I’m keeping it simple, just basic patterns, because I tend to always chase new things to learn. So I’m letting myself stay here for a while. No pressure, no upgrading it into something complex.

Just weaving. Simple, quiet, repetitive.

A tray of tiny stitches and pieces waiting to become something more.

This is one of my favorite parts of creating—the quiet stage where everything is still taking shape. No finished piece yet, just thread, patience, and countless little stitches.

Sometimes the magic isn't in the finished work. It's in the making.
