The Craft Lab

The Craft Lab is a creative center offering workshops in textile arts.

Workshops are open to beginners and advanced practitioners to learn and experiment with materials and techniques that are connected to textiles including weaving, dyeing, felting, surface design, quilting, sewing and more. We are enthusiastic supporters of using sustainable practices and strive to lessen our footprint on the earth.

The Craft Lab in collaboration with Fix It, welcomes you to a Clothing Repair Drop In at the Mount Pleasant Library this Sunday Nov 20th 2016 from 10-1pm.. We'll be providing supplies and sharing skills to fix your favorite garments. Our goal is to divert textiles from ending up in the landfill and bring repair skills back to use with patches, darning and stitches. No experience necessary!
