This year the Mississauga Festival of Trees is combining the Artisan Market with the Culinary Market and spreading the whole thing over 2 weekends. That’s 6 days of amazing festivities…and Crochet Me a Garden is there for the whole thing!

I’m very excited to be back at the Brisk Ayr Market today!

I love the people who come to this market as they are truly interested in the hard work and talent of all the artisans.

I love being asked why I started crocheting and the meaning behind my hummingbird logo and company name.

My most favourite is when young children come up and ask me about my craft which usually means they either crochet now or want to start.

I think most artisans would agree with me so why not make eye contact and ask them about their work. It’s a passion for most of us and who doesn’t love to talk about their passion?!?

Start the holiday season right and come on out.

I know some of you may not believe it but I HAVE learned what my limits are over the last few years (honestly!).

That’s why I’ve taken October off from my markets as the other side of my life has been extremely busy.

Starting next weekend I’m back in the swing of things and have holiday markets scheduled every weekend until the middle of December.

Shopping small businesses for your holiday gifts is truly special and very appreciated by the artisans!

The Paris Night Market is over. Thanks to everyone who showed up (and there were a lot of you!) and to the always well organized ALL Canadian Events

Now onto my next market next Sunday. This is a new market for me and I'm very excited to meet new vendors and those in search for the perfect handmade creation!
