What I loved about creating these moments was the entire process. From allowing myself to conceive the idea, to reaching out to a stranger on Facebook and getting into the lake to adjust poses 😂😂.

I knew for sure that I wanted to tell a story about RENEWAL using photographs, this captures the essence of that. Thank you for accommodating my creative preferences, and for enjoying the process as well. Y’all should check him out, he’s an amazing photographer. 🎉.

ÀDÌRÉ (Yoruba word meaning Tie and Dye) is the indigo-dyed cloth made in South-Western Nigeria, using two-tone indigo resist techniques.
We decided to infuse Nigerian traditional fabrics to create designs that resonate on a global scale.

For the styling, I decided to go for a creative approach to merge cultures through fashion. What way to better execute the vision, than with this gorgeous shot 📸.

Dress will be in full production next year, as the team is currently fulfilling orders offline. Also our website is currently down and undergoing maintenance 😞☹️☹️. Thank you for being so patient and supportive ❤️

It was so wholesome working with and . This was first time posing for a photoshoot, she was nervous at the beginning but quickly eased herself into feeling comfortable and confident. I mean it’s hard not to with a custom dress and phenomenal styling😮‍💨😉😉.

Just a little something I’ll drop here.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Slow Fashion Boutique, and for being so understanding about the process.
The vision is create new relationships with the way we consume fashion— it’s time to start appreciating the artistry and time needed to put together quality outfits.

I have also bought into the fast fashion hype. I ordered a couple of items from and ended up not liking any of them. The quality was super cheap, and looked nothing like it did on the models. I ended up selling some for cheap on Marketplace, and donated some to Value Village.
*They sold it for more than I got it 😤*. That’s another issue on its own.
