I was pleasantly surprised to learn that we were nominated as an Inspiring Business in West Hants—a community we’re proud to be a part of.
As always, thank you for your continued support and encouragement and to Inspire West Hants for this recognition.
The Inspiring Business Program promotes West Hants Businesses who contribute to a strong and vibrant West Hants!
This program marries the Support Local movement with businesses who also supports our community: We want to celebrate those businesses who invest in our community’s vibrancy through donation, fundraising, sponsorship, community drives, volunteering, etc!
Our next West Hants Inspiring Business was nominated by a community member! Spisani Designs is located in downtown Windsor.
Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Suzanne and Andrew, Spisani Designs is a handcrafted fine jewelry store that has been going for 15 years. Their shop is beautiful not only because of the unique pieces they create, but also because of the contributions they make back to the community.
Spisani Designs regularly donates to local organizations, including Pride events and Tracy's Place . They also support the BMO Ride for Cancer through donations and by supporting local riders from West Hants. The BMO Ride for Cancer raises funds for cancer-fighting technology, equipment, and patient care.
Suzanne creates and refurbishes one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, while Andrew does the CAD’s, 3D printing, Casting and Photography used for many of their staple items. When you stop by the shop, you’ll most likely find Suzanne herself handcrafting jewelry, making every visit a personal experience.
Suzanne has also taken an aspiring artisan under her wing, sharing her knowledge and teaching them the skills needed to create and repair jewelry.
