What is a Taggies by Trystynn? A small blanket made with soft material on both sides surrounded by satin ribbons of various colours and prints. Soft materials such as satin brings comforting to babies and toddlers due to the material reminding them of the softness of the womb. Also giving a sense of security and calm. (My mom is an ECE and has told me many times!) More infromation from my mom: The ribbons help stimulate the senses as they gasp them with their fingers and encourages fine motor skills. When they grasp with their fingers, it encourages the development of the "pincer grasp", which later helps with holding a pencil, colouring and eventually tying shoe laces.
