A simple workshop improvement that solved a small but annoying problem.

My inexpensive thread rack worked perfectly for small spools, but the larger ones had a much bigger center hole than the rack’s pegs.

So I designed a simple adapter in Tinkercad, printed it on my 3D printer, and glued it into each spool.

Now every spool fits securely, and my workspace is much more organized.

Sometimes the best projects start with a challenge.

A while ago, I was asked to make a pocket slip for a Victorinox Swiss Champ XLT—one of the thickest Swiss Army knives ever made.

At first, I wasn’t convinced that a simple pocket slip would work for such a large knife. After several prototypes, plenty of testing, and positive feedback from customers, I realized the idea worked far better than I had expected.

That experience inspired me to create a complete step-by-step tutorial, so you can make one yourself.

Pocket Slip with Clip for Victorinox Swiss Champ & CyberTool.

The second version of my leather pocket slip designed for larger Victorinox Swiss Army Knifes.

This design includes a metal clip, allowing the pocket slip to be carried either inside a pocket or clipped to a belt.

The idea is not to replace the first version, but to offer a different carry option based on personal preference and everyday use.

Pocket Slip for Victorinox Swiss Champ & CyberTool

A simple leather pocket slip designed for carrying larger 91 mm Victorinox models.

Originally made for the Swiss Champ XLT, this design turned out to be a practical solution even for thicker Swiss Army Knives. The leather keeps the knife upright in the pocket, protects it from scratches, and makes everyday carry more comfortable.

This is the first version of the design. In the next videos, I’ll show three more variations with additional features and carry options.
