Who among you doesn’t have a cardboard box to throw away 🗑️ (I used the box from some groceries delivered to my home) and has never been to one of those big DIY stores? Every time I go into one of these shops (my world! ❤️), I can’t resist the temptation to pick up some paint sample cards.

And another pair of jeans 👖
Denim is an extremely durable fabric, but jeans trousers often tear in the same place (especially if you have a husband who wears them to cycle to work every day 🚲).
These jeans have become my personal and special travel bumbag.
So far, my bag has travelled a few thousand kilometres. But I plan many more journeys.

Time to tidy up and make space.
And I find these three objects that have something in common: they are the result of a single pair of jeans 👖 bought in Madrid 🇪🇸 in the summer of 2012.
After 1️⃣3️⃣ years, they have become: shorts 🩳 + doll trousers 🧸 + arrow quiver for a bow 🏹.

👉🏼 Trip back to my teenage years!

The last time I went back to my parents’ house, my mum gave me two boxes full of tins of beads 🟢🟡🟠🔴⚪️⚫️🟣🔵. Oh yeah!

Back in the 90s and early 2000s, I spent almost all my savings on beads. Now that I have this treasure back, I tried to see if my daughter would take to it. And yes, the experiment is a success! We are making trees out of copper wire and beads. Just like in the old days. 😎

And oops! For those of you who are paying close attention, my index finger is green 🌿 because this afternoon I took part in a community workshop on reorganising the common areas in the school playground next to our house. It was an exceptional initiative with the aim to listen to everyone’s ideas. Amazing! 🙌

🎧 Personal project 🎧

My daughter received headphones for her birthday (1️⃣2️⃣🫣😵‍💫🤪). She asked me for a case, so she could carry them in her backpack.
As always, I like challenges and I like to experiment! No tutorial, I draw ✍🏼 📐📏the pattern and invented the sewing process. I must admit that I definitely need to improve on the process 😂😂
At the end, I’m really satisfied 😎 I hope my daughter too 😋😉
