About last night…

Premiere in our cozy Shop with our Community - customers, clients, staff, friends, family, and the curious all joined us to learn something new about their feet.

Although PediPower is where this Documentary got its start, it grew into a world wide project - because this is a world wide problem.

It’s great to be in this Documentary with the Therapist group I learned from and now am a part of.

To our Barefoot Shoe Community in Switzerland;
The Closing of the biggest Barefoot Shoe Shop in our Country Rey Oli _ch has left us all shaken and uncertain.

To help us all get through this rough patch, PediPower is offering a Solidarity Discount of 15% to any Reyoli Customers with an unfulfilled online order or valid Gutschein - starting 8 September to 23 December.

It’s finally happening. The Stupid Shoes Documentary is coming out.

You’ve heard me talk about this Film. What you might not know: when the Filmmaker came to me with one Question about her own Feet, I may have given her a little push down the rabbit hole.

Now it’s 15 Experts deep, and it goes far beyond Feet: how we got here, and the Questions the Shoe Industry, the Medical World, and even our Governments keep dodging.

What a Weekend!

We had a blast visiting with our Brands and finding a few new ones for YOU.

Was also great fun to meet some of the Professionals in my field that started at the same time and see how well they have also grown.

The Highlight of the whole experience was being there with our wonderful Team.
We learned a lot together; especially how strong we are and that we’re truly setting new standards in how we help YOU.

And as a tribute to the person that held the first ever Barefoot Shoe Expo, I wore one of her designs all weekend 😉 “ ✌🏼❤️🦶🏼“

You can’t unsee the Truth.

This is what CAN be achieved with the right tools and efforts.

Functional Footwear, Foot Exercises, and Awareness WILL change your feet for the better.

Backstory:
Less than a year ago I met these feet. Their owner had a lot of questions and was looking for confirmation of her suspicions.

After our long lunch, she got busy doing her thing - that “thing” being a whole Investigative *Documentary Movie about the many aspects of human ignorance regarding shoes and feet.

Along the way, she changed her footwear to Barefoot Shoes, did foot exercises, and gained knowledge about human feet.

Participating in her Movie IS very exciting, but I have to admit, this is what makes me the MOST excited: seeing the RESULTS of her efforts.

Ode to Prague
Barefoot Mecca.

Not just because much inspiration for creating my place came directly from here.

Not just because you see Barefoot Shoes are worn here just like any other type of shoe

Not just because finding a Barefoot Shoe Shop here is as easy as finding a regular Shoe Shop.

Not just because it’s country has the most Barefoot Brands with the longest history of dedicated production.

Not just because many of the leaders in Functional Foot Restoration and Fascia Science come here to Teach.

But mostly because of your beautiful sensory rich sidewalks, where small cubes of roughly cut stone are puzzled in place by hand to create geometrical delights for the eyes and soles to interact with.

In any other city I’d wear my insoles to negate urban hiking (endless cement sidewalks). But in Prague I wore my thinnest soled shoes and nothing else, and let the tapestries of cobblestone massage my soles with each step.

Besides being the Western World’s Barefoot Mecca, it’s also an interesting City to wander. Included a few images of fun experiences to explore.

In Prague to support the first .

We visited some old friends and made a few new ones.

At PediPower, we’re always on the lookout for what’s best for YOU, taking time to search for the right fits to meet your shape and needs.

New things will be coming to our shop in the upcoming seasons, with a focus on adding to our Hiking selections and Urban styles.
