There are many types of webbing, involving clothing, shoe materials, luggage, industry, agriculture, military supplies, transportation and other industries. The raw materials for webbing have gradually developed into nylon, vinylon, polyester webbing, polypropylene, spandex, viscose, etc. Due to the rapid development of clothing, packaging enterprises, shoe industry, jewelry industry and gift industry, there is a large demand for webbing and high requirements for its performance. Therefore, manufacturers should improve production technology and management, increase investment, and promote industry development.

Polyester is a kind of man-made fiber. Polyester has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, wear resistance and easy washing. Therefore, polyester webbing has a wide range of uses and is widely used in the manufacture of clothing and industry. Nowadays the use of recycled polyester webbing is becoming a trend.
1. Characteristics of polyester webbing
High strength, strong impact resistance, not easy to break, good heat resistance, good abrasion resistance, poor moisture absorption, strong light resistance, not easy to fade, poor color capture, not easy to color under low temperature dyeing, need high temperature (135 ℃) dyeing, black smoke when burning, smelly, less shrinkage.
2. Identification of polyester webbing
Disassemble several warp and weft yarns of two unknown types of webbing, burn them with lighters respectively, and observe some physical phenomena during the burning process to determine the raw materials of warp and weft yarns. When burning, observe the flame, the melting situation and the odor emitted, and the condition of the ash after burning. Polyester webbing is easy to ignite, and it melts when it is close to the flame. When burning, it melts and emits black smoke, showing a yellow flame and giving off a fragrant smell.
