In the traditional dyeing method, the water in the dyeing bath must be discharged, resulting in high dyeing wastewater, which has the hidden danger of environmental pollution. In addition, in order to ensure the color fastness of the fiber, a certain degree of soaping or washing must be carried out after dyeing. Generally, including dyeing, soaping and washing, the water consumption of fiber dyeing processing is 40-50 times the quality of the dyed fiber (taking wool as an example). Therefore, the traditional dyeing method has the problems of large water Consumption and large sewage discharge, which is not conducive to the long term sustainable development of the industry. Zero-Dye technology can form the residual dyes and additives in the dyeing bath and on the fiber into a micro suspension state and oxidize and decompose them. It can not only prevent the dyeing process from subsequent soaping and washing, but also reuse the treated dyeing bath water in the subsequent dyeing process, greatly reducing the water and pollutant emission of the whole dyeing process. Taking wool as an example, in the dyeing process, using Zero-Dye technology can save water by at least 40-95%, reduce CODcr of discharged water by 30-40%,BOD by 30-40% and chroma by 80-90%. At the same time, the color fastness can be further improved.
