Apple & Peanut Butter Baby/ Toddler Biscuits
Ingredients:
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup homemade apple purée (peel, cube, steam, and blend until smooth)
• 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (smooth, unsalted, no added sugar)
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
Method:
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
2️⃣ In a bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.
3️⃣ Add the apple purée and peanut butter, then mix until a soft dough forms. If it’s too sticky, add a little more flour.
4️⃣ Transfer the mixture to a piping bag and pipe into your desired shapes onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
5️⃣ Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until lightly golden and firm.
6️⃣ Allow to cool completely before serving.
Storage:
🫙 Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature or 5 days in the refrigerator.
📍If your baby is just starting solids, make sure apple and peanut have each been introduced separately before offering them together.
